When my Dad recently passed away we looked, in accordance with his wishes, for a simple cremation without a service. We initially contacted a tv advertised company, after being told the price, there was then added fees for almost everything else. From the first contact with Full Circle we were impressed with the compassion and helpfulness shown by Lucy. She remained informative throughout the whole process and called often with little extra suggestions to provide a trouble-free and efficient service.

I popped into Full Circle Funerals Halifax to introduce myself to Nicola and the team, a few weeks ago (I am a local Civil Funeral Celebrant). What a lovely warm welcome I received. Like mine, their ethos is person centred and they support families in creating the funeral they want for their loved one and don’t just try to fit the family’s wishes into a set formula. At Full Circle Funerals Halifax they do everything they can to make families relaxed and comfortable when either planning a service or visiting their loved one. The rooms are light and airy with beautiful furnishings with thoughtful use of wood and other natural materials. This makes it a very calm and peaceful place to sit, think, chat and plan.

From my initial enquiry, right through until after my Dads funeral, nothing was too much trouble, Nicola, kept us informed of everything, she was so professional, yet easy to communicate with, and really could not have been more helpful and kind. A sad occasion, particuarly difficult due to Covid restrictions, was made perfect by everyone involved on the day. Thank you so much . X

I was really impressed with the décor and furnishings throughout, it is a very calming and welcoming space. Nicola is great and she will help a family who have recently lost a loved one through every aspect of arranging a funeral that they want and their loved one deserves and would have wanted. By the way it really was a good cup of tea.

Firstly, forget everything you thought you knew about funerals. Nicola was warm and welcoming. The décor was not remotely maudlin or sombre, it was both inviting and relaxing. It was clear from the moment I stepped through the door that a funeral planning experience here would be different to anything I might have imagined. Full Circle are well on their way to redefining what it means to plan a funeral.

In keeping with the other Full Circle premises the décor was beautifully calming and relaxed. As a local Civil Celebrant I am very much looking forward to working with these wonderfully caring people to make a difficult time in peoples lives as easy as possible.

When the time comes for me to actually use funeral services I am confident that Full Circle will be ideal. This is an important new concept in post-life care — and long overdue in Calderdale/Kirklees. So I’m very glad this firm is nearby. And I’m quite convinced they will deliver what’s right — affordably and sensitively. That helps me relax.

My husband Craig died of covid pneumonia, I had spoken to another funeral director who had basically told me they wouldn’t touch my husband except to put him in a shroud and put the lid on the coffin, the idea of that shattered me 4 days after Craig had died. The next day I spoke with Sarah, I explained that I wanted to honour Craig by him being able to be dressed and have his beard plaited and if I could I would like to be able to spend time with him and for our children to see him if they wanted. Sarah was gentle, kind, reassuring and put my heart and mind at peace, so much so that my Dad who was stood next to me when I was talking on the phone with Sarah said he could see the physic difference as the anguish turned to hope. I was introduced to Nicola at the Halifax branch. Nicola listened to my family, accommodated everything we asked for, made it safe for us to see Craig and spend sacred time with him celebrating Solstice with him, sitting in sacred space with him, bringing him gifts for his journey. Little things that made a huge difference. Nicola cared for Craig with gentle kindness, she showed him and us true compassion and went above and beyond to ensure we were able to honour Craig’s final right of passage from this world with dignity and grace. Our gratitude and appreciation of the compassion, humanity and care from Nicola and Sarah cannot be put into words. I can only hope this begins to convey that. Thank you from our hearts
