Peacefully at 86 on 1st February, Rovena Townsend (nee Taylor) passed away with her Daughter, Sally and Granddaughter, Hannah at her side.
Loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and great friend to many. Rovena was resilient and kind and showed great fortitude, strength and positivity in her life, through the two enormous losses: her beloved Husband, Gordon and her beloved Son, David.
She will be greatly missed by many, but her warmth, humour and determination will live on through all who were close to her.
The family invite you to join them in remembering Rovena on Friday 18th February, 12:45pm at Altrincham Crematorium, Whitehouse lane, Dunham Massey, WA14 5RH, followed by refreshments at The Bulls Head, Wicker Lane, Hale Barns, Altrincham, WA15 0HG.
Dress code: Rovena wanted her funeral to be a celebration of her life, so in her words “wear colours and be joyous”.
