Mary Elizabeth Warren
(nee Hannan)
19th August 1937 – 4th May 2023
Passed away peacefully at home on 4th May 2023 aged 85 after a lengthy and courageous fight against Parkinson’s disease.
A beloved wife to Melvin, wonderful and much-loved mum to sons Paul and Michael and mother in law to Jacquie, adored grandmother to Jodie, Ben, Nicole and Sam and great grandmother to Mason. She leaves a massive hole in each of our hearts.
Mary was treasured by those who came to know her and love her. She loved her family and friends and made sure everyone around her was happy before ever thinking of herself. Mary truly was a rare breed and we were all blessed to have had her in our lives.
It goes without saying that she will be hugely missed and we invite you to join us to celebrate her long and wonderful life.
Her funeral will be held at 1pm on 31st May at the crematorium at Lawnswood Cemetery, Otley Road, Adel, Leeds, LS16 6AH.
We appreciate that, for a number of reasons, not everyone will be able to make it, so those unable to come are invited to watch the service via video link.
