It is with great sadness that we announce that Gwen passed away on 16 February 2024, peacefully and with her whole family around her. Dearly loved wife of Mike, beloved mother and mother-in-law of Lindy and Gabriel, Tony and Rachel and Andy and Julie, adored granny Gwen (“GG”) of Poppy, Katie, Tom, Grace, Emma and Sophie and step-GG of Joanna and Emily. A dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie, great-auntie, cousin and wonderful friend to many, Gwen will be deeply missed.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday 28 March at Birches Crematorium and Remembrance Park, Birches Lane, Lostock Green, Lach Dennis, Cheshire, CW9 7SU. Following the service, the family warmly invites you to join them at Ringway Golf Club, Hale Road, Hale Barns, Cheshire, WA15 8SW to celebrate and fondly remember Gwen’s life and share happy memories.
