We’re Good Funeral Awards finalists

We’re very proud to announce that Full Circle Funerals has been shortlisted for the national title of Green Funeral Director of the Year in the AGFD Good Funeral Awards 2023 and Full Circle Funeral Partners in Altrincham is a finalist in the Bereavement Support category.

Reaching the finals is an incredible endorsement of our continuing commitment to sustainability and bereavement support in the funeral sector.

Full Circle Funerals and Full Circle Funeral Partners have a defined purpose to support people’s wellbeing after loss and we are delighted that Sara and Jez’s work in the community in Altrincham has been recognised in this way.

In terms of green funerals, we are committed to offering wider and more informed choices for people who are arranging a funeral and are keen to consider their impact on the environment.

It is important to us that we contribute to informing individuals and fellow professionals on sustainable options, should this be important to them. So much so that in the past year we have spearheaded a £20,000 Crowdfunding campaign to enable Planet Mark to research and produce a report to help people make planet friendly choices about what will happen to them when they die. Our electric hearse and wide range of eco-friendly options such as cardboard, wool, willow coffins, shrouds and other choices, are available for those who want a greener funeral or perhaps would like to include one or two environmentally friendly elements. We have also run workshops and webinars about green funerals and written guest blogs on the subject.
