Sarah speaks at B Corp Webinar
Full Circle founder Sarah Jones was part of a panel of speakers at a webinar this week for businesses interested in learning more about becoming a B Corp.
Organised by Yorkshire B Local, the event aimed to show how certifying and joining the B Corp movement can benefit businesses.
As the founder of the first B Corp funeral director in the UK, Sarah was able to share her knowledge gained during Full Circle Funerals’ journey to certifying.
Certified B Corps are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using businesses as a force for good.
A big part of this force for good is sharing knowledge and experience with other businesses who are undertaking their own B Corp journey, or who are inspired to consider it.
There are currently over 5000 certified B Corps from 74 countries around the world including companies such as Patagonia, Hootsuite, Danone, Innocent Drinks, The Body Shop, Tom’s Shoes, Havas, Harrogate Water and Full Circle Funerals.
Evidence shows that people want to work for, buy from, and invest in businesses they believe in and B Corp Certification is a powerful way to build credibility, trust, and value for your business.
Sarah was joined on the speaking panel by Fiona Ras-Jones, B Leader and Founder of Make Impact, an agency helping companies to lead with purpose and make their business a force for good, and Charlotte Diaz, B Corp B Leader and Director of HR at GF Smith.
We were pleased to be able to contribute to this event and are grateful to everyone who attended.
