A service where we work with you to create a funeral procession that aligns with your traditions, loved ones’ preferences and personal choices. Many of us identify with some traditions, create our own “alternative” funeral traditions and have some very alternative funeral preferences. We believe that the key is for you to be given the right information and be supported in a way that is responsive to your needs – and then you can create the unique funeral you feel confident that you can be happy with. Whether you wish to have a direct cremation without attendance or a full cremation ceremony, we can provide all that you need for affordable cremation services. From a range of beautifully designed urns, to organised transport to crematoriums, to full pre-service personal care where you can receive locks of hair or fingerprints and to the cremation themselves. You may feel that cremations mean you won’t have much option to personalise; but we can make this happen to help you honour their memory, your way. Follow the link to find out more.
Pre-paid funeral plans are becoming increasingly popular. They allow you to pay, complete, and sort your funeral in advance and can also be a great way to document your funeral wishes. When people who are arranging a funeral know what the person who passed wanted, they describe feeling a great sense of relief and consolation at being able to fulfil those wishes. Helping your loved ones by easing the stress of funeral planning and funeral expenses after your time, is a gift we can help you pass on to them. Follow the link to find out more.
Choosing a final resting place for your loved one is a deeply personal choice and can sometimes be a daunting decision. We offer a huge range of beautifully designed and unique coffins and urns. From traditional wooden coffins, to full photo print coffins and from simple cylinder urns to biodegradable and water soluble urns. Keep your loved ones in pride of place as a statement piece in your home or lay them to rest in the world outside. We make sure you can have the finest piece for your memorial service, burial service or cremation service. Follow the link to find out more.
Custom Keepsakes and Jewellery
During this difficult time we want to give you the opportunity to make it as personal as possible. Just because you lay them to rest in a coffin or urn does not mean that it will be the only and final keepsake. Before all funerals we can create custom jewellery with locks of hair, finger prints and ashes. These can keep your loved ones close to heart and with you at all times. However, it does not end there. For those who always had a flare of personality, we can offer you unique keepsake ideas like; ashes pressed into vinyl records, stunning firework rockets with ashes inside and even have ashes scattered in space itself. We offer a range of dignified choices to suit every preference and wish. From classic and understated eco cars, providing a comforting atmosphere, to beautifully adorned horse-drawn carriages, offering a timeless elegance that pays homage to tradition. For those seeking a unique tribute, our vintage camper vans and bikes with sidecars add personality to a person’s final moments. At Full Circle, we ensure that every aspect of your loved one’s final journey is handled with compassion and respect, allowing you to focus on commemorating their life in a manner that truly reflects their spirit. Funeral Plan Choices
Having a full understanding of all the alternative funeral options that are available can be very helpful. When you know what is possible, the choices that feel right become much more obvious. We will have a funeral home near you and all are welcome. Contact us today or visit us in Leeds, Ilkley, Guiseley or Harrogate.
We would always suggest that you give yourself a little time and space before making your final choices on funeral plans, and feel able to change your mind as your thoughts evolve. Your funeral directors will help you to put all your choices together and will do as much, or as little as you would like them to do for your funeral arrangements .
Call us and we will have someone walk through all of our options with you and help you understand what can be possible: 01133 200 049
Venues – you may wish to consider holding the service at an alternative venue. We have supported families to arrange funerals which have taken place in their own home, garden, a local community center and function rooms. Many places will allow the coffin to be present
Committal – you could have a look at the local crematoria, local authority and natural burial grounds before making your final decision. We have helped many families arrange funerals at their local Natural Burial Grounds, which are often beautiful locations to hold an alternative funeral
Coffins – there are many different alterative coffins to choose from; wicker, wool, cardboard and alternatives to the traditional wooden coffin are all available and examples of these can be seen in each of our services
Flowers – using flowers from the garden or wildflower arrangements can be an alternative to traditional funeral flowers. There are a great number of possibilities – for example, we have supported families who have chosen potted plants (such as chilli plants) and have arranged for personal items such as a trowel, walking boots or vegetables from the allotment to be incorporated into the arrangements
Celebrants – you may prefer to have a civil celebrant, Humanist celebrant or religious leader to conduct the service. Alternatively, you may wish to do so yourself – it is not a requirement for the service to be lead by a “professional” and many families we have worked with have created beautiful formal and informal services themselves
Transport – there are a variety of hearses that you can choose from and our 100% electric eco-hearse is a popular choice for people wishing to make more alternative funeral choices. If you have a suitable vehicle then you could arrange to transport the coffin yourself (with some assistance, if you prefer)
Other alternative choices – there are many options available for stationary, refreshments, musicians, dress codes, memory tables and personal tributes. Please contacts us if you would like to know more (or you might find our funeral guide helpful)
