Passed away peacefully on 28th April 2023 aged 74.
Wonderful wife of Peter, mother of Emma, Alison & Chris and grandmother of Tom, Lawrence, Felicity & Alex.
First and foremost in Sylvia’s life was an unqualified and absolute love for her family. Beyond that, her life was guided by two principles. First, that every human being deserves proper respect and consideration; and second, that kindness costs nothing and should be given freely to all. It was a privilege to see these principles in action wherever we went; and we would like to thank the staff of Granby Nursing Home for showing the same kindness to Sylvia and her family in her final days.
The funeral service will be held at Stonefall Crematorium on Friday 19th May at 3:10pm followed by refreshments upstairs at Horticap.
