We are a small independent funeral service who believe that a funeral director should be completely flexible and transparent about prices, to enable people to choose a funeral that truly reflects the individual that has died.
Family and friends being empowered throughout the process of planning a funeral can be a positive and fundamental part of the grieving process. At Full Circle Funerals, we are committed to giving you the opportunity to have as much hands-on involvement as you want, in deciding the best way to start to commemorate an important life.
Lesbian funeral services
Full Circle Funerals was established to offer as wide a range of choices as possible and support people to create funerals that are right for them. We give friends and family as much or as little control as they want, providing genuine choices in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We understand that lesbian, gay and bisexual people may, or may not, want their sexuality to be represented as part of a funeral service and we can support you to arrange everything from simple, intimate ceremonies through to large-scale, elaborate funerals, designed to help you choose a funeral to reflect a unique life.
As lesbian friendly funeral directors, we are proud to offer options to enable you to create a personal send off for your loved one. From your choice of transport, flowers or venue, through to the celebrant and what happens at the graveside, we’ll work with you to plan an inclusive ceremony which unreservedly acknowledges your relationships. We recognise that the most important people to involve may differ from those in a traditional family.
The range of options we offer include but are not limited to:
Traditional or woodland burials, cremations, coffins and urns – we’ll discuss the wide range of options available, helping you to create a unique funeral designed to help reflect the life and beliefs of the deceased.
Green funerals – if you would like to have a completely ‘green’ funeral or are interested in including a few environmentally friendly elements, we can help with this.
Religious and non-religious funerals – a wide range of choices are available, covering where and when a funeral ceremony takes place and who conducts it. Your choice will, of course, depend upon the personal, religious and spiritual beliefs of the deceased and we’ll work hard to find as many different options as possible.
Transport – choosing a more unusual form of funeral transport is a lovely way to reflect the life or interests of your loved one. We can provide a wide range of choices for funeral transport; from a traditional hearse, through to a VW camper van or our electric eco hearse.
Additional options – a huge range of additional options are available to help you make the ceremony as individual as possible. From photograph boards and memorial books, through to balloons, your choice of music and favours for mourners, we’ll discuss any ideas you may have.
